ECO-COMMITTEE

New ECO-COMMITTEE Action Team is formed

This term pupils were invited to join the Academy’s Eco Committee. The Eco-Committee is the action team and the driving force behind the Eco-Schools work.

The Eco-Committee will meet every half term to:
  • Ensure that the whole school is aware of the Eco-Schools programme
  • Take the lead in carrying out the Environmental Review
  • Ensure that everyone in the school community is represented in the decision-making process
  • Provide a link between pupils, teachers, senior management team, governors and the whole school community
  • Take the lead in delivering the Eco-Schools Action Plan
We are grateful to all the pupils who showed an interest in joining the Eco-Committee. The selection process was difficult and eventually the following students were selected:

Energy School - Hannah Durkin, Chloe O’Neill, Courtney Woodacre and Nathan Sharratt.
Climate School - Louise Beddow, Sahra Blackmore and Holly Pegnam-Mason.
One World - Ben Holden, Greg Kettley and Megan Ellis.
Resources School - Shane Peet, Olivia Thomas-Moore, Luke Robinson and Rebecca Hamilton.
Environment School - Roy Finch, Ben Hewett, Daniel Barrett and Ewan Mason

Well done to you all!
