The Eco-Committee was invited to a Rangers Day at Newton Lake, Willow Park - Newton, along with pupils from St Peter's Primary School. They visited a number of exhibitions organised by the council’s recycling team, Water Aid and Newton Rangers. They were shown how to fish, identify what waste can be recycled and the impact unclean water can have on developing countries around the world.
